Some History June 19, 2018

This blog was established after I approached the Suissevale Board and presented a proposal to save most of the Suissevale members a considerable amount of money.

The proposal was rejected, but no mention of the actual proposal was made in the Board Minutes, nor was the proposal published on the Suissevale website. I asked the Board to get a vote on the issue with all members and they would not allow it.

The board does not allow mailings or email to members unless the Board gives prior approval for the mailing or email.

I developed this site and blog to allow non-board members to share opinions and issues via this site in a free and open discussion.

I am publishing my communication with the Board so others can see what was discussed. All documentation is listed under Marina Pricing Proposal.

Bottom line: The Board has been charging non-dock holders at least $100 more per year every year to subsidize Marina dock holders by how Marina rates and member fees have been set.

We plan to publish newsletters from time to time that may be of interest to all Suissevale members on other subjects affecting Suissevale that the Board may not approve of being on their site.
